RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA — West Coast Thunder Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, announces the official parade route and anticipated rolling closures for the West Coast Thunder Memorial Day Motorcycle Ride on Monday, May 25, 2026.
Thousands of motorcyclists will gather to honor fallen service members, with proceeds benefiting the Riverside National Cemetery Support Committee. To ensure the safety of participants and the community, local law enforcement will implement rolling closures along the following route beginning at approximately 9:11 AM.
2026 IMPACTED ROUTE & CLOSURES
Motorists are advised to expect significant delays or seek alternate routes during the following sequence:
- Staging/Start: The ride departs from Riverside Harley-Davidson, 7688 Indiana Avenue.
- Indiana Ave. to Arlington Ave.: Eastbound travel will be restricted.
- Arlington Ave. to Alessandro Blvd.: Transitioning Northeast; expect closures at major intersections.
- Alessandro Blvd. to Trautwein Rd.: Eastbound flow toward the Mission Grove area.
- Trautwein Rd. to Van Buren Blvd.: Southbound transition; heavy congestion expected near the Van Buren/I-215 interchange.
- I-215 Northbound: The motorcade will occupy the right lanes of the I-215 Northbound corridor between Van Buren Blvd and the SR-60 transition.
- SR-60 Westbound: Major impacts expected heading West toward Downtown Riverside.
- Market St. Exit: The SR-60 Westbound off-ramp at Market St. will experience heavy volume; the motorcade will turn left into Downtown Riverside.
COORDINATION WITH EMERGENCY SERVICES
West Coast Thunder Foundation is working in direct coordination with the Riverside County EMS Agency (REMSA), local law enforcement, and regional trauma centers—including Riverside Community Hospital and Riverside University Health System Medical Center—to ensure emergency vehicle access is maintained throughout the event.
