West Coast Thunder has updated its logo and online presence.
The foundation has partnered with Fuel MRKT, an agency based in Southern California, to create a suite of new logos for everyday use and event-specific branding.
“We have worked with Fuel MRKT for years on the design of our event shirts,” said Jackson Dodd, Executive Director for West Coast Thunder. “It was through this process that we were able to come up with a new logo for our brand.
“We have incorporated challenge coins throughout the years in our events and that was something we wanted our new logo to embody,” Dodd added.
Launch Digital Marketing, a Chicago-based digital marketing and website design agency, was tasked with updating the website, under the design direction of Dodd and his brother Jason, who also sits on the Board of Directors as Chief Information Officer for the nonprofit.
“Our goal was to build a website that showcases all of the hard work our nonprofit has done and continues to do,” Dodd said. “Not only did we want to highlight that work from a foundation perspective, but we also wanted to enhance our online user experience for those donating to help make a difference and registering for our events.”
“It was an honor to partner with West Coast Thunder in designing and developing their new website,” Deb Mitchell, Senior Project Manager for Launch Digital Marketing, said. “We take pride in working with companies and organizations that believe in giving back to the community, and the work West Coast Thunder does in honor of veterans is amazing!”
West Coast Thunder also announced collaborations with event management company and ticketing platform TicketSauce, and credit card processing software, Stripe.
“TicketSauce is a platform we’ve been looking into for some time,” Jason said. “They are able to host our complex registration requirements while keeping things simple for the end-user. Stripe is a natural pairing; many nonprofits and other corporations use Stripe for online credit card processing.”
West Coast Thunder is a tax-exempt, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to honoring those military servicemembers who have given the ultimate sacrifice in their service to their country. The nonprofit organizes a motorcycle parade of over 7,500 each Memorial Day with proceeds benefiting monument construction and other ancillary services at Riverside National Cemetery.
